Product Placement Marketing
Product Placement Marketing is the process by which we integrate a product into a selected production for clear product visibility as a form of brand marketing or product promotion. The product is visible, though sometimes not the focus, and it fits almost seamlessly into the context. We achieve this through cross promotion seamlessly blending two or more genres into one advertising feature to achieve a force multiplier in terms of marketing.
As an example:
This image shows Wolverine impliedpresumably at the Xavier Institute where he has just exited a sports car. The intended advertising is the Dodge Challenger but in this setting we have incorporated movie and comic book adaptations so that the product can now fit into this world and gain attention and exposure to audiences that it wouldn’t normally be exposed to.
